Supposed to be visiting to Grace Community Service once in two weeks, last week a trip to Grace Community Service was announced to be canceled as the choking haze made a comeback above the unhealthy level. As of 28th October 2015, we paid our first visit to Grace. Grace Community Service is a non-profit charitable organisation to contribute community care, support and voluntary participation in society for help people needs.

Furthermore, I understood the importance of community service centre existence and their responsibility to give out their hand to people who needs help in our country. Everyone does not need a reason to help people. During the briefing session, the people in charged, Ms. Irene was quite upset about another group from our university came yesterday due to they did not do well their job as everything was messed up after they left. Therefore, we had to redo what they had done on the previous day and it was time consuming.
After a short briefing, I was allocated into the team to sort out all clothes donated by people to be categoried by gender and age. We were given a mask due to all the clothes in the plastic bag were so dusty. What we have to do is sorting out the clothes in accordance with its size, dress, bottom or top, and labelling the number before putting it into the boxes. As compared with PACE activity, Grace activity is more preferable for me as I am the person who likes to do stock taking and arranging stuff; that is to be said that the whole process of this activity was so enjoyable. Before we left the place, we were praised by the people in charge as she said that we were doing better than yesterday group and finishing all given tasks within the time.
Mattie Stepanek says that “Unity is strength when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved”. I was delighted and contended when all my classmates were so unity to work in one team to finish up all works together.
